FS academy evo to icon

I can’t upgrade my Nwaneri skill moves or weak foot because the card has changed from a future stars academy evolution to a future stars academy icon. Has anyone else had this issue. Did i mess up that bad that now instead of having 4⭐️5⭐️ is stuck with him at 3⭐️4⭐️ is. I really wish they kept them as an evolution so you could upgrade these after the fact of becoming a 91 rated. This makes no sense to me and I personally am sad and disappointed that they would change the card.
