My FC UT player with over 12 playstyles prior to EA title update

I had quick sold my player I invested many upgrades into which I believe had a total of 14 playstyles. The playstyles were not working correctly and so I quick sold him to start another evo with the same base card.

A title update later addressed an issue stating that players with over 12 play styles were not functioning correctly.

Can I be given my player back since the card was bugged prior to the title update?
