My TOTY defence is getting beat by bronze rated team.

Only in rivals my defence cannot catch a 67 pace forward? Is this a glitch ? I have won 2 games out of 1000. Squad battles I have no problem on pro, I win most games. But when teams out run my defence by a mile its made me hate playing rivals
