Player not showing up in squad and now quick sell recovery

I packed a player no one crazy but 98 shapeshifter. He was not showing up to add in my current squad but was under my club players in the web app. After closing multiple times still nothing. I could not add him to current squad nothing. I figured fine maybe its glitched ill quick sell him and then recover him. I was able to quick sell and now hes not in recovery?? Has anyone experienced this ? Where u packed a player and hes not showing up anywhere? Now that i quick sold him hes not in my quick sell recovery!! HELP
