Re: Can't control players on FC25 rivals

Thank you all for reporting this issue to us. I'd like to investigate further to see what could be causing it. We will be grateful if you can share the following information so we can check what's going on:

  • Username:
  • Platform:
  • Summary of Issue:
  • The controller you are using: 
  • Controller settings in the game (custom or default): 
  • Recent Timestamp (Date, Time, Timezone)
  • Video of the issue (if possible)

In the meantime, please try the workarounds already listed in the thread:

1. Open the EA App and log in. 2. Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner. 3 . Select "Application Settings." Go to the "In-Game Overlay" section. 5. Toggle off the "Enable In-Game Overlay" option. 6. Restart the EA App and launch the game.

Additional steps you can try: 

  • Create a new squad with different players, skills and formations and test it again. 
  • Delete potentially corrupted files in EA SPORTS FC

    Is there a fix for this? Or can I get a refund for this £90 game that I am unable to play.

    When playing online rivals or freindlys (doesnt happen in rush works fine there) sometimes my players will just start running in one direction or do nothing at all (they can still pass) just cant move 

    i am using a regular xbox controller that has been tested on other games and works fine

    Es horrible, varias veces se pierde el control de un jugador...en rivals, ps4....cada año este juego tiene más Bugs.

    Porque fuerzan tanto las partidas para igualarlas??? No veis que la experiencia de juego es horrible? Los jugadores se vuelven lentos y fallones, solo para que el adversario tenga alguna opción. Eso desacredita este juego, No es justo, ni deportivo.

    Ayer mismo gané 15 monedas en un objetivo y no las ingresan por la cara 

    Continúos fallos en los menús.

    Pongo un jugador (Smith) y sale Diogo jota.

    EA no estás engañando, no mejoras el juego, te importamos una M.

    Summary of issue: Input delay, players run away from the field without me being able to change player or make the player come back to the field. No response at all wshen trying to change players, this occurs every 4 minutes in game, so that means what like every 6-7 seconds in real life.

    The controller you are using: Xbox controllers with wire, i changed controller and USB cable because i thought the problem was up to me.

    Not video enabled, more then happy to screen share the problem with a EA manager.
