Same Player Item Twice in 1 Pack

I got home on Sunday excited to open the new pack released earlier this weekend. 15 players all 84+. However this led to something I have never seen before. I got the same player twice in 1 pack.

i thought, let’s head to the live chat to see if this is right. First off I was told it was just probability and it could happen. Then the finale was that I have somehow placed a separate non duplicate untradeable Koulibaly in my pack and send another player into my club.


Fair to say that I’m kicking myself that I didn’t screen record the full pack. But it wasn’t a pleasant experience being gaslit into thinking I’m a magician by EA Help Staff.

Not the best Sunday, although with that said, despite only 14 unique players the pack was decent.

    This seems either like something that is a one in a million, considering how many packs are opened and this is only about the 3rd time I have heard about this and therefor not something worth spending time on or even to get upset over. OR, you messed up either on purpose or by mistake. Not gonna say which it is since I don't have the required information.

    There is a visual bug which has barely been reported, I have encountered it twice now but I spend a lot of time on the game usually.

    The bug sort of copies one players image onto another but their is actually a different player behind that copied image.

    Could be that.

    I think this must be the case. Live chat were convinced that I’d sent another player to the club and placed a second Koulibaly there.

    Whilst plausible and probably what I would also think if I was them, I don’t even think this would be possible as an unassigned player would prevent the pack being opened.

    Offering this visual glitch as an explanation would have been much more palatable than being called a liar.

    @mattenschnufl In the Beta, we received a TOTW 11 players pack or something of that sort where I had packed a Double Walkout TOTW Mbappe. It can happen. It's very unlikely, but it definitely can and I think it's dumb that it can.
