What happened to Double XP?

When futties released on FC25 ultimate team, it said in the release statement that you would be providing "Double XP" for progressing in the season pass, however the XP being provided for the weekly objectives is actually half the amount of XP we received last season. Is this intentional or a mistake?

EA don't always keep their promises. This is intentional but they probably don't remember since they are marketing FC26 and FC25 is just the old toy left on the pavement.

Hence why people are not preordering. EA say things will happen they never do. The XP given from objectives have increased slightly and that justifies "Double XP" in their eyes.
