Why only 12 games for Squad Battles?

So screw the casuals, the rich get richer.
I think EA's underlying idea is that this will force the casual SB player to the store, under the misguided idea that they need better players to get higher ranks.
If the majority of casuals are driven away from this game then EA would lose a lot of revenue.
Also by this reckoning they have completely screwed up Rivals by drastically increasing the amount of games required there.
@ricm0nkey I mean if they wanted to screw casual they would make it 40 games because casuals don’t have time to play it. But last year you was forced into the store as people didn’t want to play 40 games.
No casual has time for 40 wl 40 squad battles 40 rush 40 friendlies and 40 rivals. That’s 200 games a week.
If anything they should make all modes 12 to help casuals. That’s still 60 games a week. They might even need to lower it to help casuals even more. Maybe 6 squad battle games a week.

@RadioShaqs Our definition of a casual is different, hence the different viewpoints.
I understand most people would view a casual as someone who spends less time on a game, to me a casual (myself included) is someone who spends a lot of time on the game but does not want to be involved in the ultra sweaty and toxic game scape that is online FC against others.
That is why Squad battles only was my thing and i'm quite sure was for a lot of other people.
40 games a week was fine for those who only played SB's and avoided online play due to anxiety, health conditions and various other factors. This has now been taken away from those people.
Oh and the old argument of "go play career mode" is a very bad take, i bring this up as it was said to me in the past.
Guess we'll have to just agree to disagree.

- @ricm0nkey I said if it’s because you like playing the game I could see wanting 40 games. That’s actually about the only reason to want more games. To me it sounds like you enjoy playing the game.
Do you like the game?@RadioShaqs I do, better since the patch in my opinion, but only on Squad battles.
I don't enjoy any of the online game modes as I stated, that includes Rush which, again only in my opinion, is a nice idea but terrible in reality.
