Ball moves too fast

This FC26 is becoming too much of a pain in the ar**. In my ps5 career mode, whenever I attempt sprinting with the ball, the player pushes the ball farther than he ought to. As a result, the opponent gets the ball off him easily. It’s tiring tbh. And there seems to be no solution to this.
