CAREER MODE UNPLAYABLE… once again…
Another year, another rip off. Isn’t it funny how EVERY YEAR, there’s always one massive problem with Career mode. I’ve played 2 different career mode saves before & after the first ‘patch’.
- PLAYER CONTRACTS: EA need to sort this out quickly as possible. Not next month, not next week. ASAP. If I had the chance to get a full refund of this game, I would. Their new mechanism is a cool idea, if it actually worked. Example: Kyle Wootten, Stockport county player. He’s played 25 matches, 11 goals, 12 assists. His contract is running out. I bench him for 2 games halfway through the season, to give some youth players a chance in the cups. He’s now thinking of going somewhere if his gametime doesn’t improve… okay. Fine. I’ll just play him every game. 5 games later, Kyle Wootten wants to leave, he’s not had enough game time. My other striker has started 3 times. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. There’s nothing I can do now either. He’s committed to going. I don’t sim games either. I play every single one of them. But the stupid AI conversations, contracts are BROKEN. How can EA not get this right on day 1. Conversations notifications STILL don’t work after the patch. I’m having to check my inbox every game causing major anxiety in case I miss a message saying a player is unhappy. It shouldn’t be this frustrating.
- DEEPER SIMULATION: Again, a new feature that we all wanted. It doesn’t work! Example: Sent out a Stockport County youth lad to Oldham Athletic. His rating is going up a little bit which is good. I go to check his stats for the season on loan. He’s not played a single game?? I want to see how many goals he’s scored, assists etc…
I don’t know what it is with EA, but either the developers have stupid deadlines from their higher ups, which causes them to rush the game or… they’re all just a lazy, money grabbing bunch of idiots. This game has so much potential and every year there’s major problems on EVERY game mode. Sort your game out EA.
