EA FC Has Become FIFA Street, Defending Is Officially Dead

This is the worst football game I’ve ever played in terms of gameplay. I’m a good player, but this is just too much. Do you need a Harvard degree just to learn how to defend in this game? My fingers actually hurt from trying to find ways to defend.

Between unstoppable runs, Volta-style skill moves, and finesse shots flying in from 30 yards out, it’s impossible to cope. You can’t even move the goalkeeper properly anymore. How are you supposed to defend? I’ve been playing this game for 10 years, but this is becoming ridiculous.

Only the player with the better attack wins. It’s impossible to win matches because of solid defending. You can dominate the entire game, and then your opponent takes five finesse shots from 30 yards and scores all five. Skill cancels completely tear open the defence.

Please do something about the gameplay. It doesn’t feel realistic at all. I’ve even gone back to playing eFootball because, in terms of gameplay, it actually resembles the football we watch in real life.

We want a realistic football simulation, not FIFA Street or FIFA Fortnite. Please genuinely do something about this. Football isn’t just about winning by scoring more goals than the other team. It’s also about defending, tactics, and balance.
