I guess then you gotta educate yourself about what the sport of football is :/ as this is the best gampelay i've seen for the last 3 years :/ players actually defend like a team so you can direct opposite players into teammates that for once don't run away :D Fullbacks actually join defense again after a lost tackle, so if the opponent wastes to much time the chance is gone :/ i guess this is your problem as you're used to the flashy basketball 1v1 iso play you've had the last 2 years so you waste time in attack ;) the only thing that you can complain about is that the ballcontrole of the midfielders is a bit to less which make the ball flipper arround from tackles :/ but as this is usually the case from good timed tackles in a row i can live with this ^^
This is also the reason i usually play every 2nd year as the uneven numbers usually prefere the iso style gameplay while the even numbers are usually a bit slower more realistic gameplay ;)
