Game Lag 6 minutes into Rivals

I’m on PC, and literally every single time I load in to my first rivals game, exactly at half time (6 minutes), the game instantly starts to lag. If I leave the game and come back into the menus it’s instantly fine again.  Please please please fix this as I’m losing games simply because of this!
