Gameplay slows down the longer the match goes

I've noticed that during this weekend, gameplay starts to slow down the longer the match goes on. I play on PC so i'm used to it being very responsive. It starts out normal enough but then towards the 2nd half, it slows down considerably and I'm thrown off.  I have a high end PC with a 9950x3d CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 ram and a 9070 xt. I play on 1440p with high settings, not ultra  so I doubt it has anything to do with hardware limitations
