Hi Fc Team and Players,
Technically this is less about Fc26 and more about Fc Ultimate Team as a whole. Sorry if it shouldn’t be here, but it is sharing my thoughts about Fc and it says on the post to share your thoughts here.
I consider myself a long time UT player. I only ever played ultimate team and have done this since Fifa 11. I still buy Fc games but not every year anymore. I miss a year and buy the next year. I do this because I think, old Fifa Ultimate Team was where it was at. I preferred it and i feel like it never returned. It was much better than today’s. In my opinion, Hopefully others agree, but i am finding i buy Fc less and less these days and tbh if Fifa brought a rival out I’d probably buy that just to see if they brought back stuff that I miss from Fc and the reason I say that is because of the features EA has taken away from us on UT over the years.
I have a list of old UT features i’d like to return to game. But before I start, I know the coin ones and maybe some others have been stopped because of abuse/exploitation and I think taking those features away from us instead of fixing them wasn’t the right choice. They should’ve been improved or made to work and the abuse/exploits being fought the hard way instead of at the cost of removing player benefiting game features that we all enjoyed and got a lot of satisfaction from. Instead they were just taken away from us and never returned.
If the features still existed today I'd have never stopped playing every year. I LOVED to sink stupid hours everyday into UT. Just on the marketplace alone because of the features it had. I honestly probably enjoyed marketplace
trading, squad building and flipping for profits more than the football matches itself lol and I know there is loads more people like me who did the same and still try to do the same lol.
1) Return direct player to player Trading with coins and cards. We used to be able to trade freely on the marketplace and offer coins or cards to other players for their currently listed cards and items.
2) Return Player fitness loss after matches and the fitness cards. We would have to alternate squads after every match to regain squad fitness or buy fitness cards to allow us to use our main team straight away again.
3) Return Training cards (+5 pace +3 dribbling) to be able to boost our cards with a +5 pace card for example and it would make our card stats temporarily from 85 pace to 90.
4) Return Formation cards like (cm > cam/cam > st). Formation cards used to be how to change a preferred position of a player and it makes for a more custom created team this way.
5) Return coin farming and return Pack luck. Coin farming, for me. Was using the marketplace to your advantage and finding deals to make coins on. Like Rapid buying and selling or flipping for profit. Pack luck was pack luck. (buy a bronze pack, chance to pull an icon)
6) Return unrestricted auction prices and aggressive sniping. If someone wants to put an icon card up for 100 coins start bid, let us have the choice. If we want to snipe peoples listing mistakes, let us have the choice.
7) Return old chemistry links and 100% chem mechanic. Fc is getting basic in its old age if I'm being honest. Squad tuning/editing overall has gone easy, effortless, less techy etc.
8) Return contract cards for players and managers. Again, today’s Fc has taken away the effort. Made Ultimate Team easier and UT has a more basic approach overall for it now.
9) Return injuries and injury cards. Injuries used to be so much better and more frequent. They both had a severity in the form of numbers. It caused players to rest or buy injury cards. E.G +5 foot healing to put players back in
starting 11s asap or sit your star player on the bench for 5 games instead lol.
10) Return player morale and morale boost cards. If you lost the match, team morale would lower and if morale was low and you decided not to fix it. Your team played absolutely doo doo. Resting the team or buying morale boost
cards would put the team back to top performance playing.
11) Return Ultimate Team marketplace back to one big happy transfer market so we all (Pc, Xbox, Ps) can trade together on a single market again.
12) Return unlimited squad battles. The restrictions for squad battles are not good at all and make us feel like the devs don't want us to have high tier rewards at all even though some of us don't have the opportunity to
place high enough for good rewards in the first place.
The absence of this whole list have got to stop. Ultimate Team is not as enjoyable as it once was with these old features. It’s made me stop loving Ultimate Team like I used to. All of the list needs to be restored, monitored,
tweaked or whatever needs doing to stop abuse/exploiting or whatever it is the devs and EA didn’t like about them.
Also for the majority of these features mentioned here. Would more time spent messing around on the marketplace like buying, selling, squad building and the pack luck return, technically mean more pack buying from players?
And also the features being taken away from us gives the impression that EA couldn’t figure out a solution for the features to stay. So I hope I help spark some dev brains here with this suggestion lol. It might also be stupid and already exist, idk. But, I will put what I have down anyway because I want all 12 features back, not some. or none lol.
Adding a money tracker to UT so every coin that is traded or moved from account to account is tracked and Traced by the game. Stock markets track stocks. Crypto does its thing. Banks do to. this could curb coin duping. If it
isn’t already existing for Fc that is lol. and also dupe detection for UT. I think other games have combated duping itself by giving everything worth money/coins its own unique id. Then any duped id will be flagged as a clone and the detection code/software does its thing for the devs or whatever. That’s all I got. Hope it helps get the features to come back though lol.
