Please EA get the Switch 2 version running at 60 fps

EA I love football games and was really excited about getting this for my Switch 2. While I appreciate the effort you have put into the visuals, I like many thought this would have 60fps. Surely if a pS4 , as old as that is can handle it a Switch 2 should be fine.

This feels a very rushed release. I hope you address the elephant in the room and fix /make improvements to the frame rate so Nintendo Switch 2 players get a smoother experience (which they deserve). It shouldn’t be the same frame rate as the original Switch.

Nintendo players are desperate for this. I like many will be looking with great interest to see if you get this ironed out before purchasing.

thanks for listening

  • Hey ForestJN86 the team have discussed the Switch 2 version here: https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/fc-26/news/pitch-notes-fc26-switch-2-deep-dive

    Additional Platform Details

Nintendo Switch 2 also includes some visual adjustments to enable consistent performance, including simplified hair rendering, lower-resolution grass and crowd textures, and reduced sideline details.

We are exploring all possible options for further optimizing FC 26 general visual quality on Nintendo Switch 2. We can share more info down the road once it's available, and we’ll continue to closely monitor your feedback in this area

    +1 again.

The gaming experience is truly awful.
EA FC 26 seems like a really good game to me, but it's barely playable on Switch 2.
    Higher FPS is really necessary.

I definitely don't expect the same experience as on PlayStation, PC, or other platforms, but please, 30 FPS is really not enough for this type of game.

Fully agree, a competitive game should not be at 30FPS, at least I would ask for an option to toggle a 'Performance mode' that lowers the graphics in compensation of raising the framerate.

  • EA just make it more smoother and you will get a many more money! 🤑

  • Why not just introduce the option to the end user as a setting to optimize either for frame rate or fidelity. This is a setting that is very common on PS5 and could allow for users of the switch 2 that enjoy the portability of hand held mode to enable frame rate as the priority considering the screen size. On other platforms like the steam deck the actual screen size makes a big difference in the fidelity being rendered with many steam deck optimized games running on 900p to allow for smooth frame rates since visually it is imperceptible in most circumstances. Game fluidity is one of the most important aspects of EAFC regardless of console and at least the option of the user making the choice and trade off in settings should be considered. Even Nintendo recently did this for Metroid Prime allowing you to have a high frame rate experience in portable mode.
