Proposal: Club Evolution System — A new dimension for Career Mode
Hello, EA SPORTS FC team.
I would like to share a suggestion for the future evolution of the EA SPORTS FC Manager Career Mode.
I believe Career Mode could go beyond squad management, transfers, and match results, allowing the player to also experience a club's structural, financial, and commercial evolution.
My proposal is to create a system we could call the "Club Evolution System."
1. Stadium evolution
The stadium could evolve based on the club's performance, reputation, and financial capacity.
The manager could invest in:
capacity expansion;
pitch quality;
lighting;
locker rooms;
VIP areas;
private boxes;
stores;
food courts;
parking;
fan experience;
commercial facilities.
These improvements shouldn't just be about numbers or financial bonuses; ideally, the evolution would be visually apparent within the game.
2. Training center and infrastructure
The club could also invest in upgrading its training center.
For example:
gym;
medical department;
physical recovery facilities;
youth academy facilities;
player housing;
training pitches;
analysis and scouting infrastructure.
The better the facilities, the greater the potential for player and youth academy development.
3. Logistics and transport
A feature that could add even more depth is the evolution of club logistics.
A small club might use a standard bus.
As it grows, it could invest in:
executive buses;
customized buses;
better travel arrangements;
chartered flights;
transport contracts;
and eventually, its own dedicated or customized transport fleet.
This would help convey to the player the feeling that their club is truly growing.
4. Sponsorship system
Another possibility would be to create a dynamic sponsorship market.
Companies could show interest in the club based on:
sporting performance;
reputation;
fan base size;
competitions played;
the market in which the club operates;
international reach.
The manager could receive various proposals and choose between contracts with different values, durations, and objectives.
For example:
Sponsor A
3-year contract;
lower fixed fee;
bonuses for winning titles.
Sponsor B
2-year contract;
higher fee;
requirement to qualify for a specific competition.
This would turn sponsorship into a strategic decision rather than just an automatic source of revenue.
5. Naming rights
The system could allow the club to negotiate stadium naming rights.
A company could offer a specific amount over several years to associate its brand with the stadium.
The manager would have to decide:
maintain the stadium's historical identity or accept a lucrative financial offer?
This decision could vary depending on the club's financial situation and objectives.
6. The core concept
The most important aspect would be connecting all these systems.
The cycle could work like this:
Sporting results
↓
Club reputation
↓
More fans and revenue
↓
Better sponsors
↓
Greater investment capacity
↓
Better stadium, training complex, and logistics
↓
Higher sporting potential
↓
Better results
↓
Club growth
In this way, the player wouldn't just be managing a squad.
They would be building a sports institution.
Example experience
Imagine starting a career with a small club.
In the first season, the goal is financial survival.
After a few seasons, the club earns promotion.
The stadium begins to undergo improvements.
New sponsors appear.
The training complex is expanded.
The youth academy starts producing better players.
The club begins competing in continental tournaments.
Revenue increases.
New companies show interest.
The stadium gains new commercial areas and acquires naming rights.
After 10 or 15 seasons, the player looks back and can visualize the complete transformation they achieved.
In my view, this would be one of the key features that could make Career Mode an even deeper, more immersive, and enduring experience.
The idea isn't simply to add more menus to the game, but to create a genuine sense of building and evolving a football club over several seasons.
Thanks to the EA SPORTS FC team for continuing to listen to the community and develop Career Mode.
