Proposal for FC 27: Introduce "Code in a Box" Option for physical copies
Hello EA Team and Community,
As we approach the reveal and pre-orders for FC 27, I wanted to share a proposal on behalf of many players who love collecting physical game cases but recognize the shift toward a digital future.
With next-gen consoles moving away from traditional discs, physical media is gradually fading. However, many of us still value the habit and experience of having the official game case on our shelves.
To bridge this gap, we would love for EA to consider a "Code in a Box" option for the next game (similar to what Rockstar is reportedly planning for GTA VI). This means selling a physical external case that contains a digital download code on a card instead of a traditional disc.
This approach keeps the collection tradition alive while fully embracing the benefits of digital gaming. EA has always shown great support for the FC community, and we hope you will take this feedback into consideration for the upcoming launch.
