report ongoing gameplay issues ̀

Hello EA,

I am writing to report ongoing gameplay issues and frustrations in Career Mode in EA Sports FC 26. I enjoy football games and want a challenging experience, but many mechanics currently feel unrealistic, inconsistent, and unfair rather than competitive.

Over the last several matches, I have consistently experienced the following problems:

* Opponent AI wins the ball unrealistically fast, sometimes almost instantly after I receive possession.

* My players often feel slow, static, delayed, and unresponsive compared to the CPU team.

* CPU teams perform extremely fast passing combinations in and around the penalty area while my defenders react too slowly or stand still.

* Defenders frequently fail to track runs even when defensive tactics are correctly set.

* Through passes often go directly to opponents despite aiming toward open teammates.

* Headers travel unrealistic distances and behave like perfectly accurate passes.

* Loose balls and rebounds repeatedly return to the CPU team as if magnetized.

* CPU dribblers feel impossible to approach or tackle consistently, almost as if protected by invisible shielding or collision advantages.

* Physical duels feel heavily unbalanced, with my attackers being pushed unrealistically far away.

* Offside decisions feel excessively sensitive to tiny body parts such as heels or shoulders, even when the attacking player is moving away from goal.

* Goalkeepers receive extremely low ratings because defenders allow repeated close-range chances, making goalkeeper performances feel unfairly judged.

* Match ratings and Player of the Match decisions often feel disconnected from actual match impact.

* Momentum/snowball effects feel too aggressive:

  * after conceding one or two goals,

  * my entire team becomes noticeably less responsive,

  * while the CPU becomes significantly faster and more accurate.

The overall gameplay experience frequently creates the feeling that the CPU has artificial advantages rather than realistic football intelligence.

I respectfully ask the gameplay team to review:

* player responsiveness,

* AI passing precision,

* defensive awareness,

* loose ball and rebound balance,

* collision physics,

* tackling consistency,

* and the strength of momentum systems.

I believe the game would feel far more realistic, skill-based, and enjoyable with better balance in these areas.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards

    Not sure how long you have been playing the FIFA or FC game series, but the issues listed above have been occurring for over a decade, and is normal Manager Career mode gameplay. The game engine has been antiquated for years, and the described problems with the CPU opponent have been the only way EA knows how to add difficulty and challenge to the game. The further difficulty settings are increased (Legendary and Ultimate) the more CPU cheating is added. When using Ultimate difficulty the CPU rarely is called for fouls or penalties, makes illegal offside runs without referee whistle, has ball shielding forcefield in every match, contain and teammate contain buttons fail to execute, and the banned words in this forum happen continually (you know what they are, and if not, can discover them by reading other posts). If the human user wins or draws numerous matches in a row, especially against superior competition, the game engine decides to boost the CPU players in future matches, and if the user still goes unbeaten, will add cheating, last minute goals, repeated corner kicks, scoring in the 96th minute when supoosed to be two minutes of injury time, etc., etc., etc. Have to live with the flaws, or move on to other brand of game (i.e. Konami), because comprehensive changes to EA Sports games are unlikely for the next five years or more.
