Fun new game mode
New game mode so I have an idea for a new game mode that I wanted to share! It essentially combines ultimate team with manager mode. So you take the cards that you have pulled or purchased in ultimate team, and you use them to create a team in this new mode. Everyone can submit a team to use, with the regular subs and reserves. These teams play in a monthly tournament style format, where you have ranks from like 10-1 like divisions, and within each rank there are multiple sub ranks you have to work your way up. You won’t actually play the games, but the ai will, and you are the manager and can watch the games, like the popular cell phone game Top Eleven! The ai will play the matches, where you can have 0-3 or so matches that day. If you watch the match and make substitutions it can give small bonuses like chem, and if a player gets tired you can sub a new player on. The AI plays on ultimate difficulty (I play manager career on ultimate difficulty and watch the ai play, and they play some fun to watch games!). There are weekly rewards, so even if you dont want to watch the games or care about the mode as much, you still get weekly rewards and packs to use in ultimate team. You keep track of stats and goals each season, so if I pull a new card in ultimate team, I can put him in, and after a season I can compare his progress with my other players to see whom performed better. There can be tournaments and the end of each month and you can win the tournaments, just like how European soccer is setup, with the different leagues. this new mode can bring in new income, as people will want to open more packs to get the best cards to compete, can bring in all new players and Top Eleven has a ton of fans you can steal from them, it can be a fun new game mode to participate in for people. Can have tournaments and prizes you can win whether you take it seriously or casual. It can showcase the ai and how well it does, and can also help to catch flaws in the ai, to help better tweak for the entire game. i would suggest checking out Top Eleven on mobile, see how their game is setup, and see how easily it can be converted to this game, creating a fun new game mode that can bring in new players, entertain existing ones, have fun rewards that can be used in multiple game modes, have leader boards to have bragging rights, pack opening promotion and higher pack sales, and free rewards for players of all sizes and income levels! I personally would love to see how my team would do against other players from around the world, tweak the settings and formations, add and replace cards and keep track of their stats. It would be a fun new mode!Still haven't fixed MAJOR FC25 issue concerning training
Re: Unable to train Free-Kicks via Development Plans | EA Forums - 7867110 EA_Vendcera Dear EA During the entirety of the span of FC25, your developers continuously kept ignoring the issue presented in the linked thread above. Even though community administration was full aware of this vast shortcoming and promised to send it for further investigation... So... Now, here we are. Almost a year later. A whooole new game. And still... The same, old tired, MAJOR oversight in Career Mode training: NO player can train and improve free kicks or penalties stats. Curve stat is also almost impossible to train (only certain winger roles may do it). Effectively putting the entire free kick and corner element to death during mid to long term Career Mode play throughs. For the dearest love of God... Will you please, pleeeease fix it this time?!?! I promise you this: I will NOT be buying the new game, until I know for sure that this has been positively solved. Enough is enough. I absolutely LOVED so many aspects of FC25. The new tactical setup was extremely well done. But this absurd neglect of the Career Mode community, concerning the lack of engagement from your team in spending a few hours moving a couple of dots around and give the player role training a much needed makeover, hence eliminating the entire dead ball aspect from the game for us, well, that's just an insult of the highest caliber. With all hope and a sincere ask for understanding from your guys, this has been a thorn in our side. The the entirety of the last game. Please, don't ruin a whole other year of FC for us old school Career Mode fans once again. We beg you. It's such a small fix for you guys, but a major issue for us. Sincerely yours, DraculNocticagus.452Views5likes36CommentsThe Youth Academy is fundamentally broken
As someone who loves using the YA on Career Mode, it's a shame to see it so broken out the moment, the way Overall correlates with Potential and Playstyles, simply doesn't make sense, and it renders the YA useless, before I start please fix the Left foot bug, 90% of the players I scout are left footed. The topic of this post is that higher rated YA players (60+) tend to have lower potential and next to no playstyles, meanwhile lower rated YA players (50-55) tend to have high potential and multiple playstyles, it shouldn't be like this and it makes no sense, higher rated YA players should have more potential and playstyles. A common theme in the YA is the 65 rated 17 year old with 66-73 potential and 0-2 playstyles, meanwhile the 52 rated 14 year old has 77-94 potential and 5-7 playstyles, please fix this, we can only play Career Mode for 15 seasons, even with the 'Fast' development setting on, it would take me at least 6-7 seasons to get a 52 rated player to 80 Overall, and by then I'm already halfway through the save. Even if the 65 rated player has high potential, he usually has no playstyles or just one playstyle, for some reason the devs have attributed high Overall with low potential and minimal playstyles, whilst attributing low overall with high potential and multiple playstyles. It just doesn't make sense, higher rated youngsters from the YA SHOULD have high potential and multiple playstyles, meanwhile low rated players (< 60 overall) should have lower potential and less playstyles than they're already given, the current algorithm/system/pattern put in place renders Overall as useless, being a higher overall should come with it's perks. At the moment the current formula is: High Rating = Low Potential & Less Playstyles (0-2) Low Rating = High Potential & Multiple Playstyles (4-7) (3-6) (2-5) However the formula SHOULD be: High Rating = High Potential & Multiple Playstyles (4-7) (3-6) (2-5) We should be rewarded for scouting higher rated players, not punished. 1.1 This is how it should be, high rated, high potential and 4-7 Playstyles, unfortunately this is a rare occurrence. 1.2 This is how it shouldn't be low rated, too young to promote and yet he has high potential and 4-7 Playstyles, it shouldn't be like this, this is a common occurrence. 1.3 An example of a high rated player with bad potential and only one playstyle. 1.4 Another example of a high rated player with bad potential and one playstyle, this is a common theme for high rated YA players. 1.5 Another low rated player with high potential and multiple playstyles. 1.6 This another example of how it SHOULD be, high potential, high overall and multiple playstyles. To reiterate the formula should be: High Rating = High Potential & Multiple Playstyles (4-7) (3-6) (2-5) We should be rewarded for scouting higher rated players, not punished, fix this. Hello EA, I think many people in the career manager community who I would like you to reintroduce the cinematic of the Ballon d'Or ceremony because it adds realism and dinamism. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you would reintroduce it36Views2likes1CommentSubject January Update Proposal
Subject: January Update Proposal – Instantly Visible Career Mode Improvements Hello, I am an active EA SPORTS FC player and would like to propose a January update focused on Career Mode improvements that are immediately visible the moment a player enters the mode. For a live-service update to be clearly recognized by the player base, new features must be noticeable at first glance. A Career Mode Trophy Room should be introduced as a primary feature. A dedicated space displaying domestic and international trophies, seasons won, and club history would allow players to instantly see that meaningful development has been made, even if they are only in the early stages of their career progression. In addition, any extension to the current season limit should also be clearly communicated the moment Career Mode is opened. Rather than being a hidden backend change, the updated season structure should be visible on the Career Mode start screen, such as through a clear label or message indicating extended or unlimited seasons. This ensures that players immediately understand the scope of the update without needing to reach late-stage careers to discover it. Together, these two elements provide instant confirmation that a major update has been delivered: one through visual progression (Trophy Room) and the other through structural clarity (season extension visibility). Furthermore, Career Mode milestones displayed in the Trophy Room can be connected to Ultimate Team in a balanced way. Achievements can unlock untradeable cosmetic or supportive Ultimate Team rewards such as limited-time XP boosts, manager-themed items, or club, stadium, and menu customizations. No high-rated or meta-impacting player cards would be involved, ensuring competitive balance. This approach delivers immediate visibility, improves player confidence in Career Mode development, increases cross-mode engagement, and reinforces EA SPORTS FC as a continuously evolving platform rather than a purely annual release. Thank you for your time and consideration. Kind regards,10Views0likes0CommentsBring back 4-4-1-1 (CF)
Bring back formation 4-4-1-1 (1) with a CF role that existed up to FC 24. We need a more compact version of formation 4-2-3-1 (2) because the current one is far too wide. There should also be a version of 4-2-3-1 (2) that allows a CF/SS for big physical attackers Either restore the CF role for attackers or allow a striker to play behind another striker The current system removes tactical freedom and limits gameplay depth15Views0likes0CommentsEA’s neglect of LaLiga, and authenticity in FIFA
Once upon a time, a La Liga career mode felt authentic, and exciting. EA’s complete neglect of the league has taken away that feeling. We once had the Nou Camp in FIFA, I appreciate it’s been going under development. But when was the last time Barca had their licensed stadium in the game. Also, Celta Vigo, UD Levante and several other clubs in LaLiga and LaLiga Hypermotion have undergone development, and this has been complete for several years. Yet EA are far too lazy to update any stadiums and keep on top of authenticity for career mode players. No new chants have been added for La Liga teams in god knows how long. Malaga and Deportivo La Coruna returned to the game last year, and once upon a time EA had this stadiums scanned and licensed. So why not add them back?! I’ve been a FIFA/FC player for at least 15 years. But I’m bored, I’m fed up, and I’m done. I’m done with EAs laziness and lack of care to the franchise and non UT players. I’m done with the constant amount of bugs, and messing up of gameplay every year. I’m done with the strip back of features such as add your own chants, face scans, and more career mode authenticity features such as sponsors or request funds, the lack of clothing items for managers. A competitor cannot come soon enough, and to be honest I cannot wait for the reality check to hit EA.19Views0likes1CommentScum
I’m 24 and I’ve just had a cancer diagnosis. I play fc to escape my mental stress and I’ve got to say. You lot are the scummiest company going. You consistently ruin a playable game with updates that sweats who pay you the most money ask for but no one else has asked for. I was enjoying this years game now you’ve changed it without play testing it once again and I’m just done with it. I’m glad the entirety of EA is getting what’s coming to it as people are realising you lot don’t care anymore, battlefield and fifa were good 10 years ago now they’re terrible.22Views0likes0Comments
