So... Maybe this week? The next patch?

Been looking forward to buying a PlayStation 5 and the new game. But with the game in this state, it won't be happening anytime soon.

Maybe cut a bit down on endless, endless live gameplay tweaks and tinkerings and instead put a few days of effort to once and for all fix the abundance of "easy but absolutely critical gameplay repairs".
