Subject: January Update Proposal – Instantly Visible Career Mode Improvements
Hello,
I am an active EA SPORTS FC player and would like to propose a January update focused on Career Mode improvements that are immediately visible the moment a player enters the mode.
For a live-service update to be clearly recognized by the player base, new features must be noticeable at first glance. A Career Mode Trophy Room should be introduced as a primary feature. A dedicated space displaying domestic and international trophies, seasons won, and club history would allow players to instantly see that meaningful development has been made, even if they are only in the early stages of their career progression.
In addition, any extension to the current season limit should also be clearly communicated the moment Career Mode is opened. Rather than being a hidden backend change, the updated season structure should be visible on the Career Mode start screen, such as through a clear label or message indicating extended or unlimited seasons. This ensures that players immediately understand the scope of the update without needing to reach late-stage careers to discover it.
Together, these two elements provide instant confirmation that a major update has been delivered: one through visual progression (Trophy Room) and the other through structural clarity (season extension visibility).
Furthermore, Career Mode milestones displayed in the Trophy Room can be connected to Ultimate Team in a balanced way. Achievements can unlock untradeable cosmetic or supportive Ultimate Team rewards such as limited-time XP boosts, manager-themed items, or club, stadium, and menu customizations. No high-rated or meta-impacting player cards would be involved, ensuring competitive balance.
This approach delivers immediate visibility, improves player confidence in Career Mode development, increases cross-mode engagement, and reinforces EA SPORTS FC as a continuously evolving platform rather than a purely annual release.
