The Problems with Career Mode

Hello,

I think that we are all aware that Career mode feels a little rusty. The game gets boring after 3 seasons, you cannot ask to do much in Player Career. I think I have a few things that can put some more realism and charm to the game.

New Club Logos

I think we can all agree that the logos look too clean and has nothing to do with logos like Brighton, Man United, Liverpool, Spurs and Newcastle. I think if they can fix that it can make you feel like you are managing a club not managing a team with a boring crest.

Stadium Location/ Relocation

This allows you when you create a new club you can choose where you want your club to be recognised in. This also stops the repetition of the 1st Stadium being in the same place every time this gives your club identity. Later in the season or after 3 - 4 seasons you can upgrade your stadium not like the generic one it will be like this. You can relocate but the board is limited to give you 25 million in league 2, 75 million in league 1, 175 million in the championship and 500 million in the premier league (varies depending on where you place) this also can affect people attending to watch games, ticket revenue and effectiveness. That's the same for upgrading as you wont just buy a new stadium you can push one side further out with more seats.

Promotion Rewards

I know these might be in the game already but just hear me out. league 2 to league 1 £25 million and the same all the way up to the premier league but these can be used for transfers or the stadium.

Conference league spot: 10% bonus

Europa league spot: 15% bonus

Champions League spot: 20% bonus

Domestic Double: 25% bonus

Historic Treble: 30% bonus

League winners (Max Dominance): 35% bonus

The Invincibles (undefeated): 50% bonus + Golden Premier League Trophy

The Ultimate Quadruple: 70% bonus

Sacrafice

If you are a couple million short of something like a stadium you will be forced by the board to sell your 2 best players for the maximum you can get.

5-in-a-row style

If you defend your League or Champions league 5 times in a row you are granted 100% sacking immunity for the next 2 seasons and a 60% bonus.

Part 2: Player Career

You are given the chance during every transfer window to go on loan or transfer to a different club this stops the boring waiting that hurts your career on the bench.

Brand deal emails/ inbox

This is where you get your sponsors from. They will give you an objective to do by the end of the season or in the next few games and 6 months before your contract expires with a brand a rival brand will try and lure you away with a higher pay out but you can show it to the Brand you are with and ask for the same or more as the other.

Three Strikes

If you fail to complete your objective once you will get a firm warning. A second time gives you a 25% less pay out. A third time the brand pulls out and other brands lower their money for the next 12 months (lower paying contracts)
