Transfer Market Ban

Hello everyone,

I am writing this post to share my situation and hopefully get some guidance or visibility from a Community Manager regarding a Transfer Market ban on my FC 26 account, which I am certain is a false positive.

What happened:

Recently, I took a break from the game due to a lack of motivation. Upon returning, I wanted to catch up and work on some Evolutions. To get quick liquidity, I made around 10 to 12 public sales on the market, listing them about 5% to 10% below the current Futbin price so they would sell instantly.

This included one Alaba card (bought for under 100k and sold after playing just 1 match because I didn't like how he felt in-game) and a few common gold cards (all worth less than 10k each). This generated a small influx of about 50k–60k coins. Shortly after, my account was permanently banned for alleged "coin distribution".

Why this makes absolutely no sense:

Contrary to Coin Selling: A coin distributor transfers coins out of an account by purchasing cheap cards for their maximum price. I did the exact opposite: I sold normal cards cheaper than their value to get fast coins.

The Coin Flow Proves Innocence: Right after generating those 50k–60k coins from the quick sales, I immediately spent over 100,000 coins directly inside the game on Evolutions (untradeable upgrades). My total balance only ever fluctuated between 150k and 200k.

No Violations: I have never used external bots, sniping tools, or engaged in real-money transactions.

It seems the automated anti-cheat algorithm mistakenly flagged a normal casual behavior (panic selling a player after 1 game + liquidating cheap gold cards after inactivity) as suspicious.

I have already submitted an official dispute ticket. Could a Community Manager please look into this or escalate my case for a proper manual human review?

Thank you for your time.

Community Managers here on the forum such as myself have no interaction with ban appeals. Please allow time for your current case to be attended to. Thank you. EA_Barry.

  • Same thing happened to me brother. Have you received any update.?

EA_Barry I understand that Community Managers do not directly handle ban appeals. However, I am writing back to you because I am genuinely heartbroken, and you are the only human link left for me. I have just received yet another identical, instant copy-paste email stating my case was "carefully reviewed". It feels incredibly dehumanizing. As a passionate player with nearly 400 hours invested in FC 26, real money spent on the game (in-game Store with FC Points), and active Premium Season Passes (with FC Points), being completely stonewalled by generic loops makes me feel like my time and loyalty mean nothing to EA. A human audit would instantly show that 100% of the coins generated from selling a few gold cards were immediately sunk into UNTRADEABLE Evolutions inside my own club. Coin distributors transfer funds OUT; I burned my own match-earned rewards inside the game's core upgrade system.

Barry, I have always played by the rules and treated this community with respect. To have all my hard work wiped out by an automated algorithm mistake—and then be denied even a single personalized sentence from support—is devastating. I kindly ask you, not just as a manager but as a fellow gamer who understands what 400 hours of passion means, to please escalate Case ID #246514994 internally to a senior supervisor. I just want a real person to look at the truth.

    Best regards,

    Telmo Veiga

I feel your pain, but I cannot 'escalate' your case. You can appeal a ban up to three times currently. If you have not appealed that many times yet, I do recommend appealing again. Hopefully, your issue can be resolved eventually. Thank you. EA_Barry.

  • I don’t think I’ve seen any mention of anyone using the appeal system and having any success with it 🤔
