Why I am losing Match when Opponent Leaves?

I was Playing Co Op online. it happened twice. I had 1 goal and opponent had 2. I was About to attack when opponent Leaves the match in Result I lost? why shouldn't I be winner as opponent Left? And why result shows 0 Goals? I had one Goal
