A good game mode idea (trust me)

EA Sports FC NEEDS a game mode similar to MyNBA Eras in NBA 2K.

Career Mode has huge potential, but it still feels too static and repetitive after a few seasons. An Eras system could completely transform the mode and make FC feel like a living football universe.

The idea:

Players can start in different football eras:

• Late 90s / early 2000s
• Wenger vs Ferguson era
• Guardiola vs Mourinho era
• Messi vs Ronaldo era
• Modern football era

Each era would include:

• authentic squads
• kits, boots, balls and stadium branding
• era-specific broadcasts and menus
• historical transfer markets
• tactical trends of the time
• accurate financial systems and league structures

But the biggest feature would be freedom.

Once the save starts, history becomes YOUR universe.

You should be able to:

• control multiple clubs at once
• customize clubs completely (identity, finances, philosophy, stadium growth, sponsors, etc.)
• edit players, staff and contracts
• create alternate football timelines
• watch clubs evolve dynamically over decades
• influence tactical trends across world football

Another huge feature should be a community sharing system similar to NBA 2K Share:

• download custom clubs
• historical databases
• retro kits
• custom player faces
• recreated eras
• community-made universes and storylines

This would massively increase replayability and finally make Career Mode feel deep, immersive and unique.

Football is PERFECT for an Eras mode because fans love nostalgia, alternate history and “what if” scenarios.

Imagine:

• Messi joining Chelsea
• Ronaldo staying at Manchester United forever
• AC Milan never declining
• Arsenal dominating Europe under Wenger
• creating completely new football dynasties

This could genuinely become one of the greatest sports game modes ever made if done properly.
