FC 26 Clubs Serious Suggestions
As someone who plays clubs more than any other game mode, there are a lot of things I want addressed or fixed in this game to improve the experience for everyone.
- Let us re-allocate our ability points whenever we want and for free. Paying to re-allocate is just a terrible concept. Give us the flexibility to try new builds and test new stats without spending hard earned coined and re-allocating ALL 1269 points... Makes no sense especially given that we have to level up every archetype individually. There is just no flexibility and makes it very unenjoyable.
- AI players ignore all calls for the ball from goal kicks and throw-ins or other set pieces. There are too many instances calling for the ball in a good position just for the keeper to launch it to the striker who has not called for the ball. Makes no sense at all. Clearly a bug.
- Specifically calling for a cross/lob pass seems to confuse the AI. They take an extra 4-6 steps before attempting to play the ball leading to loss of possession almost certainly. Why is there such a delay for this pass type? It is clearly a bug.
- Calling for the ball is so delayed. It is impossible to do tiki-taka style football with the AI, as they like to take an extra 3-4 steps before playing the ball and the option to pass is now closed. They also linger to your request for the ball for too long. Example: player A has the ball (AI), you call for the ball, he passes to player B (also AI) and then player B attempts to pass you the ball now (too late). Directly caused by the delay from your call for the ball to their pass.
Points 2, 3 and 4 I have no idea how they are in the game. It's like no one at EA even play tested this game mode for 5 minutes.
Point 1 is just a design choice, and a shocking one at that. Pro clubs is about customization and flexibility. Removing the latter by putting a cost on re-allocating EARNED stats makes no sense. Let us pick and choose our stats, since you already make us BUY all new archetypes.
Thanks!
