Measurement System Setting – "Metric" option not work after game restart

Even I have set the Measurement System to METRIC in the settings menu, the game fails to apply this setting correctly upon restarting the game.

I have to manually go into Settings every single time I launch the game, toggle the setting to Imperial, and then toggle it back to Metric. Only then does the game refresh the UI to show cm/kg.
