It’s because the people who update the database didn’t update the contract join date for players who transferred in summer 2025 so the game behaves as if Zubimendi, Kerkez, Frimpong, Reijnders, Cherki, De Bruyne have been at their new clubs for years already. On FC 26, De Bruyne’s contract says he’s been at Napoli since 2015 instead of 2025.
