Pro clubs game split into 2

We were playing a pro clubs match and the other team tried to sub on players. The game froze for roughly 10 minutes before starting again. After the game started again, I was the only team member in my match while my other teammates were in a separate match. 
Both happened simultaneously.

    Unfortunately, this has happened to me many times as well. I think it's some kind of exploit or cheat. Unfortunately, EA doesn't seem to make any improvements or fixes for Pro Clubs at all.
