Time travel glitch

Me and my mate were winning 2-0 in our final promotion game to move up into division 1, when the game reset to 1-0 because that's when the other teams teammate decided to join. this completely changed the momentum of the game and we ended up drawing the game 4-4. i find this unacceptable and expect compensation from EA.
