AI-Gameplay too weak / KI-Gameplay zu schwach
We play the Bundesliga and other leagues with friends in tournament mode. We'd like a football simulation that's at least somewhat realistic, but unfortunately EAFC is all there is...
It already starts with the fact that the "Ultimate" difficulty level simply can't be selected... why, EA? Why do you do that?
Here's the thing with us: on "Legendary" difficulty, the AI sometimes beats us by double digits. We even tweaked the sliders to buff the AI and weaken ourselves — and still, we usually get wrecked.
On top of that: Arminia Bielefeld plays against Bayern Munich with the exact same tactical approach as against Rot-Weiß Essen. The AI never changes its lineup, at least not before kickoff. It also doesn't react to the scoreline or whether it's minute 88 or minute 5. It learns absolutely nothing from mistakes; defenders don't anticipate even the most obvious runs, so you can sprint a fullback in behind the back line and play a dead-simple through ball with ease. They have zero sense of teammates during pressing and sometimes two or three players will close down one opponent without generating any real pressure, letting him exploit the gaps that opened up with a simple pass. No tactical fouls, no recognition of when it actually matters to step in and stop a break. No reaction when you're just knocking the ball around at the back to run down the clock on a lead. In short — ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF REALISM!

Es fängt schon damit an, dass der Schwierigkeitsgrad Ultimativ einfach nicht auswählbar ist...warum EA? Wieso macht man das?
Bei uns ist es nämlich so, dass wir bei Legende, die KI teilweise zweistellig vom Platz hauen. Wir haben die KI sogar noch mit den Reglern gepimpt und uns geschwächt...trotzdem, im Regelfall bekommen die aufs Maul.
Zudem: Arminia Bielefeld spielt gegen FC Bayern mit demselben Taktischen Ansatz wie gegen Rot-Weiß Essen. Die Aufstellung wird von der KI sowieso nie geändert, zumindest nicht vor dem Spiel. Sie reagiert auch nicht auf Spielstände oder ob es die 88. oder 5. Minute ist. Sie lernt absolut nichts aus Fehlern, Verteidiger antizipieren nicht mal die offensichtlichsten Laufweg, sodass man Außenverteidiger auf die Abwehrkette sprinten lässt und kinderleicht den Steckpass spielen kann. Sie haben kein Gefühl für Mitspieler beim Pressing und laufen teilweise zu zweit oder dritt einen spieler an ohne Druck zu erzeugen der dann mit einem Pass die entstandenen Löcher nutzen kann. Keine taktischen Fouls, kein Erkennen wo es mal wichtig wäre dazwischen zu hauen. Keine Reaktion wenn man bei einer Führung den Ball hinten verwaltet um den Sieg ins Ziel zu tragen. Einfach alles in allem - ABSOLUT KEIN GEFÜHL VON REALISMUS!
