I would like to share a detailed look at what EA Sports FC 26 currently includes in terms of licensed competitions, and what important additions are still missing. Adding these missing items in FC26 updates or FC27 would make the game significantly more realistic, enjoyable, and globally appealing.
✅ What FC26 Already Has
EA FC 26 currently features more than 35 officially licensed leagues, 20,000+ real players, 750+ clubs and teams, and 120+ authentic stadiums. It includes major competitions like:
UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League
Major leagues like Premier League, LaLiga EA SPORTS, Bundesliga, Ligue 1
Women’s leagues such as Barclays Women’s Super League and Liga F Moeve
These bring excellent realism to Career Mode and Ultimate Team.
❌ Major Missing Leagues That Should Be Added
Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Série A
One of the most followed leagues in the world with huge clubs like Flamengo, Palmeiras, and São Paulo.
Adding it would boost Career Mode realism, diversity, and global fan engagement.
Mexico’s Liga MX
A popular and competitive league in North America with iconic teams.
Adding it would expand options for career mode and FUT.
❌ Important National Teams Missing
Brazil National Team
One of the most iconic football nations in history.
Adding it would make international modes and tournaments more exciting and complete.
Canada Men’s National Team
A rising football nation, recently strong in major tournaments.
Its absence is noticeable given its competitive level.
Other missing or poorly licensed national teams include some European, African, and Oceania teams — all of which would improve global representation in the game.
❌ Major Competitions & Tournaments That Should Be Included
FIFA World Cup (Men’s & Women’s)
The biggest global football event.
Its absence weakens the international experience. (requires official FIFA license)
Copa America
A major continental tournament for South American national teams.
Would deeply improve international Career Mode and tournament play.
Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)
Highly competitive continental championship with fans worldwide.
Adds more meaningful global content.
CONCACAF Gold Cup
Main North and Central American national team tournament.
❌ Stadiums Still Not Fully Represented
Although FC26 has 120+ licensed stadiums, some iconic grounds are still not fully modeled with authentic crowd graphics, pitch details, or atmosphere differences:
Historic South American stadiums like Maracanã in Brazil
Classic Mexican stadiums like Estadio Azteca
Some large national stadiums used in Africa and Asia
Adding these stadiums with full authenticity would elevate immersion in Career Mode and Ultimate Team matches.
