Are there real people involved in making the updates?

I want to know if the game updates are made by actual real people or if it is done by AI? The reason I ask is because I don't believe actual people have been involved. If actual people had made the ...

I wonder this myself.  Only sense I can make of the nonsense is that ai is out of control and humans are out of the loop with how the game plays
