The game is broken. It is getting more worse every year 

I've got the message from EA today saying they increased difficulty in Squad Battles to make it more realistic. What a lie, nothing is realistic in it, today I played 73 rated team on World Class with their defenders playing as attackers, and goalkeeper was RM, and I lost 2:0. EA expect me to buy packs, no I won't.

I'm  shocked how much EA destroyed Squad Battles.

Hi Snoopgeorgio yes, you're right, I went off-topic because I was replying to another user's comment about SQUAD BATTLES.
It must be said, however, that there are similarities between the two modes...
This year, both RIVALS and BATTLES were the biggest disappointments for me...
I haven't played RIVALS for about three weeks.
I'm currently busy completing the PASS and silver icons by playing BATTLES.
Unfortunately, for a player of my level, the game doesn't have much to offer; it's all very, very difficult!
For now, I'll just keep going. Who knows, maybe EA will give us the gift of fixing the Rivals MM and tweaking the battle AI for Christmas.
I don't ask for anything else.

Completely agree, spot on with your comments. They have made Squad Battles virtually impossible this year to play on a reasonable level. I submitted a pose a couple of weeks ago, listing everything that was wrong with this game mode. Of course there were no comments from anyone EA or Admin, which is normal for this forum. Such a shame they are so disrespectable towards the paying public. One day there will be no game. Karma is a wonderful thing.

My post wasn't about Squad Battles, but there seems to be similar complaints around it.

Last year I would play a lot on Professional level, and the weaker ones on Legendary. Those would be challenging but winnable games. This year however, they have completely screwed us with this game mode. Due to objectives we are forced to play SB, so they up the skill levels of the AI. Often I can't get the ball off a low rated team, if i win the ball it goes straight back to them. They score at will and your players shots are blocked, saved, tackled, miss, post bar etc. A game is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, yet EA have gone out of their way to make it as impossible as they possibly can. This is not down to skills (or lack of them) it's purely tweaking, nerfing, call it what you like, blatant cheating and disregard for the people that buy the game. Most people that play it are absolutely sick of all the added rubbish that comes with every update. No wonder people are leaving and playing other games.

As far as I'm concerned, I think increasing the difficulty level for Squad Battles is acceptable...
The problem is that if I decide to play the competition at a certain difficulty level, it has to be the same for ALL 18 matches.
In my case, this year I have to play at PROFESSIONAL level, while last year I also played a lot of WORLD CLASS games and a few LEGENDARY games.
As I was saying earlier, when I select PROFESSIONAL level, I often find myself overperforming in many matches...
There are matches that I think I'm playing at my level, but in reality, I'm one or two levels above!
My question is:
Why does this happen???
Is it possible that even in this mode, it's not possible to play at our chosen level???
In RIVALS, you play against people of any level, who are generally higher than yours, and in Battles, we have to put up with this too???
Can anyone explain this to us?

I agree, the game is messed up, I even read people complaining about career mode insane AI difficulty.

I never played FC25, but I did play FC24 and I had no problems to play 67 rated squad in Squad Battles on Legendary and win with 2 to 3 goals, and 75 rated squad to play on World Class with and win with 2 to 4 goals. But now I'm playing FC26 Squad Battles and AI just raising the stats of the players to the maximum, like bronze and silver AI players have 99 for pace, dribble, defence stats. In one game on World Class I had AI players doing corner after corner (7 in total) when I was only defending and couldn't hold of a ball to switch for attack. My every cross into the box, ether from the corner or outside the box was 100% failure, and my squad is rated 87 - 88. When I decide to play 70 to 79 rated squad on World Class, 90% of all games always go to penalty shootout and I have 50/50 chance to win the game. So now I only play on Professional all 80 and higher rated squads, and 87 - 89 squads is not easy to win, I have play hard.

I don't understand, why I need high rated players anymore, if they can't compete in Squad Battles against lower rated silver and bronze teams on World Class difficulty. EA made the Squad Battles unenjoyable, and rewards I get is female players that goes to fodder. I don't use female players in my squad.

i like to do Squad Battle for objective and i play on semi-pro level SB just to have easy games but funny think for example i try go for score 10goal with german player i score 9 and after game decide to not let score anymore like from semi-pro level Squad Battle transform in World Class level  like and can`t be ask to play even more then 2Squad Battle when i see how sweaty it is even in SB just to finish simple objective this game is doom. I Think even if they offer game for free people will not dare to play game 

I don't even play Rivals. Squad Battles AI is like a genius playing 65 rated squad like it's icons on dope.
