Changed points an prerequisites on SB

Ok, I'm elite 1 atm. Finished all my matches yesterday. Isn't it kinda strange and maybe unfair to change the rules in the middle of a week? I mean; in a "competition", all circumstances should be equal for the contenders right? Changing the rules and point rewards midweek is just a huge middlefinger to anyone who finished it already.
