Constant Ultimate Team Disconnections Resulting in Unfair Losses and Warnings
I am writing to formally complain about a persistent and extremely frustrating issue I keep experiencing in Ultimate Team matches—constant in-game disconnections that are not caused by my internet connection, yet always result in automatic losses and warnings against my account.
As shown repeatedly during live matches, I receive the message “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment” and I am forcibly returned to the main menu while the match is still in progress. This happens despite the fact that my Wi-Fi connection is stable, tested, and shows no drops before, during, or after the disconnection. No other online services or games disconnect—only EA FC / Ultimate Team.
What makes this situation even more unacceptable is that EA then penalizes me:
- I am handed a loss, regardless of match status or score
- I receive warnings accusing me of intentionally disconnecting, which is completely false
- My record and progress are unfairly damaged
This is not only frustrating—it feels unjust and broken. Being warned and punished for something I did not do is extremely upsetting, especially when the issue clearly appears to be server-side instability or matchmaking/server handoff failures on EA’s end.
At this point, the experience feels hostile to the player. I am genuinely questioning why I should continue playing a game where:
- I lose matches I did not quit
- I am blamed for EA server failures
- My time, effort, and progression are wasted
- I am pushed closer to deleting the game entirely
This issue has killed my enjoyment of Ultimate Team and has left me angry and frustrated instead of entertained. I am asking for the following to be taken seriously:
- A proper investigation into EA server stability and Ultimate Team disconnection handling
- Removal or reversal of unfair losses and warnings tied to these disconnections
- A fix to ensure players are not punished for server-side failures
- Clear acknowledgment that this issue exists and is being addressed
Players should not be punished for EA infrastructure problems. Right now, the system is unfair, demoralizing, and broken.
I expect a meaningful response—not a generic troubleshooting script—because this issue is ongoing and has already damaged my experience with the game.
