Any reason this wholly disliked nonsense is back and seemingly has no setting to disable it like in previous versions?
Top right hand corner, large intrusive banner with all the info you already have tucked away in small form at the bottom of the screen but with inane pop ups like GOOD PASS or TRY AGAIN. How do you disable this in EA FC 26? Was just a toggle in previous games i think...was a whole nonsense of deleting old files from fifa 22 in 23 and 24.
Totally agree, its an absolute joke. The games supposed to be as real as possible and yet they have these ridiculous widgets. Surely a patch will allow this to be removed! They make changes where they are not needed but dont change the things that are desperate to be improved. Commentary is rubbish, home team playing in 2nd kit, mixed sex drop-ins to please the woke brigade - there's just not enough realism and it needs a massive overhaul.
It's wild how seemingly useful features from previous versions (FC 24 & FC 25) of the game don't get transferred into the latest version, FC 26. As a primarily Clubs player, playing on a high end OLED TV, having the static HUD element in the top right corner creates image retention leading to visible uniformity artifacts on my panel. I don't understand why you can literally remove every other HUD element visually but you can't remove the Player Performance Widget? Why has this not been patched? It's been almost 5 months since the game launched...
It’s strange that this feature was removed when it was available in FC 24 and FC 25. I have an OLED, and this becomes a burden during gameplay due to the potential image retention that can occur after longer gaming sessions.
I'm having the same issue. Literally stopped playing on my OLED because the HUD was burning my panel after long gaming sessions. This has to be patched. You could disable it in FC 24 and FC 25. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do the same thing in FC 26.
