Defense is completely worthless!
I can shoot goals from facing away 180 degrees. I can shoot goals through 5 defenders. I can shoot with 90 percent accuracy from any angle including cross body shots and unrealistic angles with max power even though im not facing the goal. But I can't seem to intercept a simple "a" pass even though I trapped the attacker and know exactly where he's passing the ball, because the game literally curves the ball around me or passes it to a unintended player. I can't block shots consistently. One time I try to block it is perfect the next time my player will miss the same block because of an animation I didn't request but it adds it in unnecessarily. Games are scoring 10-15 goals a game. Why can't EA figure out that trying to satisfy childrens attention to wanting to score every time they run up and down the field with no tactic and just sprinting is just ruining the game for everyone including the kids they're trying to appease. PLEASE REMOVE ALL OF THE AUTO FEATURES IN THE GAME. SEMI ASSISTANCE IS THE MOST YOU SHOULD DO FOR ANY ONLINE COMPETITIVE GAMEPLAY. OFFLINE IS FINE BUT ONLINE AGAINST OTHER USERS SHOULD NOT HAVE AUTO SHOOTING, AUTO PASSING, AUTO POSITIONING, AUTO SWITCHING, AUTO CROSSING, AUTO TACKLING. THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO HAVE ASSISTED EVERYTHING IN ONLINE PLAY. Let the users control their own players. Why is that hard to figure out?
