Game mode suggestion

I send the same message every year with the same suggestion. the old Pro Evo game had a custom league mode that me and my 3 friend could pick a team each and play a league with the 4 of us, as we all lived in the same town this was done at 1 person's house and would take a good 2 hours to complete but very good fun. Why can this not be a mode to play with friends online. I ask because I now live in New Zealand and my 3 friends all live in different locations. If we want to do a league this way it all has to be written down on a piece of paper, points goal diff cards scorers etc. it can't be that difficult to create this type of game mode.
