Glitch when bidding on item in transfer market section of squads

I was trying to bid on inform mayulu for 10k, but for some reason it bought him outright for 100k. I specifically pressed bid on the player and it bought now rather than bid. I spent a lot of time building up my coins so this is frustrating. I spoke to the ea help who said to post here and someone will contact me regarding the next steps, compensation etc.
