Dear EA Sports Team,

I am writing to report a critical database bug affecting the Edit Teams > Club Transfers menu in FC 26.

Summary of the Issue:

When attempting to transfer a player from one club to another, the player is successfully added to the new destination club, but they are not removed from their original club. This creates a permanent duplicate/clone in the squad database.

Why this happens:

This bug is highly triggered by players who are linked to multiple squad layers simultaneously, such as National Teams or special "XI" Ghost Squads However, since Title Update 1.6.0, it has also started affecting regular players without any "XI" labels.

Impact:

This completely breaks custom squad editing, corrupts roster files, and causes the game to crash when attempting to start a Kick-Off match or save squads with these duplicated player IDs.

Please investigate this squad database logic and deploy a fix via the next Squad Update or Title Update as soon as possible
