I can't access the transfer market on Switch

I can't access the transfer market because I can't find any Rush players on my Nintendo Switch. This is frustrating because I purchased the Switch Online subscription so that I could complete these objectives but its completely out of my control unless other players are also online and want to play Rush at the same time.
