I don’t understand the game anymore

Hello. I’m making this post because I’m genuinely confused and just drained ATP 

what is going on with the game? I’m not saying I’m an insane player but I know most mechanics and mostly end up at around 9 wins. I been playing Champs for a couple of hours and all that happens is that I’m getting pressed to death to a point where I can’t even get out of my own penalty area. I’m conceding finesses from cbs with 50 shooting which happened 5 times already and I’m only 4 games in. What do I even do now? I’m losing my mind here. No pass gets delivered because everyone is constantly surrounded by 5 players. What tactics do these people use? I played the absolute bottom of the barrel literally every game but all I get is finessed goals from what feels like 75 rates 10 shooting gold cards lmao
