Online Seasons tactics always reset to 4-2-3-1 after deleting a tactic

Yes this has been an issue going back to last year's game.

In the meantime I would try deleting every formation, even default ones. Then in formation screen press the formation reset and then back out of Seasons and close the game. Re launch it and then proceed to create your formation again.

This may help. No guarantee. And during the match when changing either on the fly with d pad or in formation screen it can still be buggy and reset to your default again.

EA_Darko this does need fixing please. Formations should definitely hold when changed during the match.

Additional information:

When I tried to create a new tactic, the game displayed a message saying that only 5 tactics can be created.

It instructed me to delete an existing tactic in order to create a new one.

I followed this instruction exactly as shown in the game.

After deleting an existing tactic, the problem started:

new tactics could no longer be saved or applied and everything began resetting to 4-2-3-1.

This indicates the issue is caused by the game's own instruction, not by user error.
