Overheating
I paid £90 for FC26 for my son last year when it came out. He hardly played it due to overheating. He’s now wanting to play it again he’s deleted a lot of stuff off his PS5 but it’s still overheating...

Depends on his circumstances. It happening again actually helps the poor conditioning argument not the fc26 argument. Shows that the conditions that console is in are consistently bad.
If FC26 was the culprit the issue would be much much more widespread. What we're actually seeing is a poorly optimized game being a good stress test for badly maintained consoles, which obviously some people will have. If it was FC26 causing overheating we would be seeing a lot lot more reports given how many people play it.
