Please Align Kick Off with Online Seasons Responsiveness - 'Competitive' Preset
To the EA Dev Team,
I am writing this as a long-term player who values consistency across game modes. As of January 2026, there is a massive discrepancy between how the game feels Online vs. Offline, specifically when using the Competitive Preset.
The Issue: Online Seasons (Competitive) feels fluid, fast, and responsive - it's great! However, when playing Kick Off against the AI—even with the Competitive Preset turned ON—the gameplay feels incredibly sluggish. My players feel like they are "stuck in mud," with delayed animations, heavy touches, and slower turn speeds compared to the Online version of the same preset.
Why this matters: The community uses Kick Off and Offline modes to practice for the "Crunch Time" of competitive play (Seasons, WL, and Pro Clubs). If the Offline Competitive mode doesn't mirror the Online Competitive speed, it ruins our muscle memory and tactical "Maña."
The Request: We need the Offline Competitive Preset to be a 1:1 match for the Online Seasons speed.
- Pass Speed: Needs a buff in Kick Off to match the Online zip.
- Acceleration/Dribbling: Remove the "Authentic" weight that seems to be lingering in Offline Competitive.
- Input Consistency: Ensure that offline inputs aren't being "processed" into slower animations than their online counterparts.
We don't want a "Simulation" when we toggle Competitive mode; we want the sharp, surgical responsiveness that makes Online Seasons so good. Thanks.
