R1 Quick music setting

Question

Hi, I’m having an issue with the Music control shortcut in EA FC 26 on PS5.

The feature where R1 activates the music menu/changes tracks is interfering with gameplay — especially because R1 is also used for Controlled Sprint/Technical Dribbling, which is a core mechanic and used constantly in matches.

Since there’s no option to disable or remap the music shortcut, it causes accidental triggers mid-game and breaks play flow.

Can you please advise me what to do?

Same issue here, it pops out every time push R1 to dribble, very annoying! Please fix it!

mine mainly happens during the "moments" feature what about u?

i’ve also since figured out there is a setting to disable the music, just hold r1 click settings and select "disable all music for streaming purposes" 😊

i’ve found a solution thought i’d update u if u hold r1 and click settings there’s a "disable music for streaming purposes" button select that and ur good to go 😊
