Random freezes with 2000 ping spikes on PC

Hey everyone, does anyone else have this issue? My game randomly freezes for about 10 seconds and shows a 2000 ping. After that, the game suddenly speeds up like 5x. Then for another ~10 seconds I still can’t control anything and can only watch my opponent play.

It’s definitely not my internet. I’ve already tried using a LAN cable, and when I stream the game on Discord my friends don’t see any freezes and can still hear me without problems.

Right now EA FC 26 is basically unplayable for me, so I’ll stop playing until I find a fix. Has anyone found a solution to this?
