Skill-based matchmaking.

Hi, sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "by skill"...
In theory, matchmaking should find people in your division in RIVALS...
But there are many user testimonials saying it's very difficult to find players in your division, and that's why there are so many complaints...
Your reasoning isn't very clear...

It used to be like that, but they've changed it... now it doesn't matter what division you're in, you always play against people of your own level.

I'm a player who gets between 12 and 14 wins in FUT Champions, sometimes a few less depending on my connection, which is usually terrible. I'm in Division 6 because I hardly ever play Rivals.The point is that in that division I'm finding people of my level in EVERY MATCH, which is impossible unless there's a skill-based matchmaking system.

To that we must add that each match search takes between 20 seconds and 1 minute, sometimes it even says "no opponent found" which is further proof that there is something strange about the game.

If you confirm what you wrote, it means they must have changed something then...
I and other users in this forum have repeatedly reported that matchmaking, especially in RIVALS, must have serious problems because too often in the lower divisions (I'm in D9) we find people much better than us...
Some users, after these matches, ask their opponent via PM what division they were playing in, and the answer was in a much higher division...
Anyway, it wouldn't even be necessary to ask because you can tell very well when your opponent is much better!

can't be skill-based as i just faced a player who is at least 3 divisions above me ^^ i guess it's more the lord voldemort thing that you're not alloud to win the next match so you gotta face an opponent who gotta win no matter what so you get matched against this :/

matchmaking feels very random outside of champs (matchmaking so that you win at least 7 games no matter what) and rivals (own division) so i gotta play at certain times to stay away from better players which is very annoying. 

I believe that MM should be as balanced as possible in any online competition...
ALL players should experience a minimum level of satisfaction from playing, obviously proportionate to their skill.
For example, an ELITE division player will win much more than a D8 or D9 player, but that's also right.
However, if you don't develop a MM that also takes into account the skills of less talented players, they'll eventually abandon the game if they start losing too much.
And players are an ASSET for EA, and if many leave, they'll lose a lot of profits and interest in the game.
For example, I, who have been playing continuously for seven years, am very close to quitting the game, even two months after day one.
EA will have to think hard about this!

Division 5 player and matchmaking in the silver tournament: before 9am i win 7/8  after 9am i win 1/6 so this is just showing that it is completly random and winning tournaments has nothing to do with skill but matchmaking lottery :( so as a division 5 player i'm not alloud to win 20 games for the rewards? :/

So you want to just play players who you are better than?

You're proving my point, bro. Why does the game match you with someone three divisions above you? It's based on skill level, not your division...

The game doesn't need skill-based matchmaking, it needs better servers, better gameplay, and less AI. I understand proper matchmaking in WL, but not in rivals or friendlies; it's impossible for every match to always be against people of the same or higher skill level... It's impossible to have fun that way.

I swear I loved this game, I thought it was the best FC of the last 5 years... And they've managed to ruin it with so much AI defending, skill-based matchmaking, and now they'll even prevent us from moving the GK.Do they want us to put the controller down and see how the AI plays? Because everything that's MANUAL in this game is being removed...

Regarding the MM, I completely understand what you mean, but allow me to raise an objection...
I started playing on September 19th, starting at D8 because in FC25 I had reached D5 once (only once), but I usually played D6 more often.
I don't know if I'd call myself an average player, but I have to admit that I couldn't have played in divisions higher than D6.
Returning to this year's game, as I said, in the first season I started at D8, after a few games I dropped to D9, and then managed to climb back up to D7 once.
In the current season, the second, I haven't been able to get beyond D8 and have played most of the games at D9.
At this point, my question is:
Why do I so often face players in divisions significantly higher than D8? So there could be two solutions:
A) the MM system is very imprecise and makes me play the first player I encounter;
B) My opponents, who are clearly stronger, play D8 but somehow circumvent the system to have an easy time against weaker players like me.
In any case, whatever the answer, it's very frustrating to play like this!
